Scrapers Edge

Gene was born and raised in Toronto. Gene obtained a diploma from the Mechanical Engineering – Technology program at Centennial College. He continued his education to obtain a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Lakehead University. He worked in the field for several years with a steel company that manufactured large diameter pressure vessels for the Petrochemical, food, military and medical industries. After 5 years of working in that field, he was presented an opportunity to be his own boss by partnering up with a few individuals to open Scraper’s Edge. Scraper’s Edge own several patents to their technology and is now Canada’s ‘ONLY’ national floor/surface removal company. 10 years later Scraper’s Edge is the industry leader in floor demolition with over 5 million square feet of flooring removed in 2018 alone. Scraper’s Edges technology and expertise, gives their clients the ‘Edge’ over their competition.
